Recently returned from a stay in a 2-bedroom suite.
The hotel is in a perfectly-convenient neighborhood, steps from the Pantheon, a 5-7 minute walk to Piazza Navona, a 10-minute walk to Campo dei Fiori.
The hotel is venerable and grand, as befits its name. Our suite was roomy and beautifully-appointed, though our rooms had very dim light.
Bedside reading was a strain; reading in our suite's lounge was nigh impossible. If we'd wanted to do any real work on computers and such, that would have been even more of a problem.
The breakfast buffet was very pricey (31 euro pp, I believe) and while the food quality was very good, I can't say the range of offerings was worth the price, though the convenience counted a lot.
When leaving Rome, we had to leave the hotel at 6am to make our early morning flight back to the USA. Incredibly, hot beverages (coffee, tea) are not available at that hour. The 'wee hours' menu included tomato soup, one or two sorts of sandwiches, maybe a plate of cookies, and that's it (4-5 items in all). No coffee. I still find it hard to believe. We were pleasure travelers, and there are business guests as well, who find it reasonable to be able to order coffee early in the morning, especially with this hotel's prices and reputation. Those criticisms aside, we enjoyed our stay.
