We have stayed at the Minerve hotel several times now, primarily due to its amazing location and its fun rooftop bar. This stay we were given a really nice room with interior ,quiet , balcony (#449) , king bed, good size room and nice marble bath. Beautiful bedding and nice bathroom supplies. Sadly, the rooftop bar we anticipated was closed for a party so we chose to eat at their dining tables. Pricey meal, not as good a value as the bar, nor was food noticeably sophisticated compared to all the good local restaurants. Skip the meal and wait for the sunset rooftop bar experience. Staff was pleasant, rooms clean, hallway rugs need updating, but overall, the ability to walk to the Pantheon with cappucinos on the square, and on to Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori, and all the alleyways to Forum or Piazza di Spagna make it a treat.
