The location is a 2 minute walk from the collegey Trastevere area & about a 15 minute walk from the Vatican. We walked everywhere in Rome from the hotel & were always happy to come back to relax. The rooms were small but clean, with beautiful bathrooms. No pay per view movies to order on the TV, though, so if you only speak English you're out of luck except for CNN news, BBC news & Sky News. There's a very nice bar off the lobby & a really lovely courtyard that you can sit in & just relax. The hotel is on a little side street that doesn't look like much, but when you get into the lobby, it's very pretty. The breakfast was a large buffet - very nice! The staff was helpful. When you get tired of the excellent Italian food that's all around you, try the Indian restaurant that's 1 block away - it was simple but delicious.

This is a splendid hotel with a great location within walking distance of many sights/attractions in Rome. The place is very clean and modern, and the staff was top notch professional, efficient, and friendly. The central courtyard is charming, and there is also a nice little bar off the dining room if you want a quick drink before you go out. Breakfast is outstanding, with every choice you can imagine, and there is a great wait staff that is very friendly and attentive. I did not feel like bringing my laptop with me so there was a computer in the lower lobby to for email and other internet access. The rooms are small as you would expect, but very clean and modern. I would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice hotel with a perfect location.

I stayed here for two nights at 240 eur/night, which is not bad for Rome but about 100 more than I think it's worth. The location is great and the hotel is very clean, but my room was small and simple (good bathroom though). The hotel lost my reservation but luckily there were spare rooms when I arrived. Breakfast was above average and staff were very polite. I'd consider staying here again simply based on its proximity to Trastevere and Campo dei Fiori.

The hotel is great location for the Vatican, Trastevere, Patheon, Campo De Fiori and Piazza Navona. They are walking distance with these places. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room that we stayed is on the 5th flr. with double beds and it was a little small. Breakfast was excellent however, the hours are too short from 7am to 10am. Great place to stay with young people in their 20's and 30's going to bars, dance, dine and meet locals. I saw a few gay people and Trastevere is great place to get lunch, dinner, gelato and italian desserts which is just less than 5 minutes away and just cross the Ponte Sisto bridge. There is one dessert place that sells old cannolis etc. just near after you cross the Ponte Sisto bridge.

My husband booked this hotel after checking the reviews on TripAdvisor for a suprise weekend away for my Birthday so I had no pre-conceived ideas.
I was extremely impressed when we arrived, it was truly lovely, modern, clean and finished to a high standard. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful, with lots on offer particularly if you like more traditional English fare. The staff are all friendly and helpful. If there was anything I was disappointed about it was the street the hotel is on - graffiti lines the walls, the cobbled street is a path of sand in places and often litter strewn about (but its not by any means unsafe or dodgy, it just needs some TLC) . But within a minutes walk along the road you're in the hustle and bustle of it all. Had the hotel been located on a better road, it was undoubtedly be pricier so not a complaint as such. Would I recommend Hotel Ponte Sisto? Most definitely!
