Stayed a week in this hotel, wonderful. Everywhere spotlessly clean, lovely peaceful garden, all you could want on the buffet breakfast. Comfortable lounge and free email facility. Location perfect, most places in easy walking distance of hotel. A must is the gelato bar opposite hotel, friendly staff, so much gelato, so little time! Also grab a coffee or beer in the shop next to gelato bar, its so cheap, great coffee and cakes and so traditional. Take the 75 bus from the market square for 1.50euros, go anywhere all day. Be sure to prebook tickets for Vatican City, Collosseum and Borghese Gallery, trust me you will be glad you did!

Room Tip: A room overlooking garden is first choice.

Yes, it's expensive. But the location is perfect. The hotel is gorgeous, especially the courtyard. The wifi is not everywhere in the hotel (though my own room overlooking the courtyard did pick up the signal), but I wasn't really interested in the internet on vacation. My room was plenty large (especially for Rome), and the bathroom is so high-end. The breakfast was generous, and the staff was so helpful. Lovely really. Several friends referred me here, and I'm so happy I followed their advice.

We are currently staying at the Ponte Sisto and are really disappointed. The rooms are so small that my husband and I have to shuffle past each other to get to the washroom etc. Although it is a nice location there are lots of better choices. Let's talk about the staff for a second - they are rude! If you manage to get the breakfast staff or the bar staff to help you they are grouchy - every single one of them (in the morning, afternoon and the evening). The front staff seems uninterested in helping with anything. We stayed at the Bettoja Meditteraneo a week ago and the rooms were huge, the staff amazing and always smiling, the location was just as good or better than the Ponte Sisto. This hotel was part of a tour package for us which is the only reason we are staying here. My advice is you can do a lot better than this hotel!

Room Tip: Don't stay here - rooms are below standard

We loved the location of this hotel. It was easy to walk and visit many of the sites from here. It is also close to a gelato shop and a small market. An easy walk over the bridge and you are in Trastavere a great spot with many restaurants. Overall we thought the hotel was a good value. The reason I only gave it a 3 instead of a 4 is because the beds weren't very comfortable to us. If you like a super firm mattress you will probably be fine, but we found it difficult to get a good night's sleep because of the hard mattresses. The rooftop terrace is very nice and the hotel was very clean.

We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is spotless and beautifully located. The little garden gives it an extra flair. And the rooms overlooking it are very quiet although the area is very lively The staff was very helpful and
courteous We iwill definitely be back

Perfect Location- the room we were given had a lovely view across the Tibor with two windows perfect for ventilation, however the stairs to the bathroom were a problem at night, we asked to be moved and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us with a similar room. We selected a suite, lots of room and quiet. The breakfast was well worth the price and the selection suited to all tastes. We found breakfast out side of the hotel expensive in the area. We will go back again and stay here as the location of the hotel and staff were excellent. We walked everywhere.

Room Tip: Select a room facing the court yard. Third floor is quiet.
