This hotel was way more than I expected. I had actually booked it before I knew it had been renovated...and let me tell you is has been renovated. The hotel itself, isn't very big. The lobby, bar and lounge area all reside together in the first floor. And I never really took advantage of either the bar or lounge. But they were very nicely decorated. The lift is quite small, so keep that in mind when coming with oversized luggage, b/c you might have to walk it. The rooms are so mod and wonderful. Nice beds, clean, hardwoods floors, flatscreen tv with different language channels, news mainly so get ready to be informed. The bathroom had a toilet and bidet, the shower while nice can be a bit awkward as their no real door. Breakfast os served from 7 to 10 and I never got up to enjoy it, but it smelled good for what thats worth. The hotel is quite a trek from Termini, but the other metro, Castro Pretorio is closer and will take you into Termini. Theres a number of nice cafes and pizzerias in the area, and it feels more like a n'hood than a tourist area. The closest thing to see is the Porta Pia. Sometimes the noise on the street can be a bit loud so keep that in mind. But all in all it was worth the walk and money.
