What a lovely group of people. From the moment we entered the door they were there to assist and help in anyway, from our computer needs to assisting in day to day activities. The rooms are small but very clean. This is not a new building by any means, but it is on a side street with an outdoor market during the day and it is Very Quiet at night which is a big plus for Rome. We walked to and from the train station. Can't say enough about the employee's, great place to stay and close to everything! Try the Irish Bar down the street, again great people! Had a great continental breakfast too!

It was my first time in Rome and it couldn't be any better!

EVERY ONE ate HOTEL CORONA was very, very friendly and made me and my mother felt like it was HOME!

They helped us with directions, they were supportive. And the best think, hehehe: I forgot my favorite sunglasses in a store, THEY WENT THERE AND MAILED IT TO MY HOUSE IN BRAZIL!!!

I'm really happy and thankful for being there.

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!!!

Managment of this hotel was extremely helpful, before my visit started in their e-mail communication. Upon my request they ordered tickets for the Opera, booked excursions, made taxi reservations.
The hotel is situated near the Piazza de la Republica, a metro station entrance. The street is very quiet. A restaurant and Irish pub are next door.

We just returned from a family trip to Italy and one of the best places that we stayed was the Corona in Rome. The front desk staff is friendly and they will do anything to help you have a great stay. From restaurant recommendations to sightseeing suggestions to calling taxis, they are always there to help. The rooms are very clean as is the breakfast area. The location is also very convenient to the trains and buses, and many things are walking distance. We traveled with three older children and found the hotel really met our needs. The only downside is the markets across the street which they set up (quite noisily) early in the morning. This did not bother my children because their room did not face the street and husband and I were so tired from sightseeing that it really did not matter to us, but if you're a light sleeper who wants to sleep late, you might want to stay in a room toward the back of the hotel. We will definitely stay here again!

“Family-friendly in Central Rome”

I have stayed at the Hotel Corona for over 15 years both because of their central location and because they are a friendly, family-oriented and family-owned hotel with reasonable prices and wonderful service. It is small (five stories) and located on a quiet street just two blocks off Via Nazionale and 15 minutes from Stazione Termini. The staff has changed little over the years, and they share the hotel management's philosophy of caring for their guests. I used to make reservations by FAX, but I now use email and they respond quickly and efficiently. I have nothing but praise for this hotel.
