mattresses on bed were very old and we came home bitten to death. not worth a 3t plus a 2t would
be more realistic.

I stayed in the Andreotti Hotel for 6 nights in October 2004. I found the hotel very nice, rooms might be a little on the small side compared to Irish standards but they still have everthing one would need. Very clean and well kept hotel. The outstanding feature in this hotel is the friendleness of the staff and their willingness to help us at any time of day or night!

The hotel also features a lovely lobby area which idea for hanging around or spending a few hours reading / relaxing.

I would recommend the Andreotti hotel without hesitation to anyone!

My friend and I loved this hotel. It was recommended to us by someone else and we more or less knew what to expect. The ambiance of our room and the hotel in general was a lot better then we have supposed. Very clean. Friendly staff. Adequate breakfast. It doesn’t look very presentable from the outside but once you come inside you’ll be charmed. AND it doesn’t have that cheap and nasty smell you get from some of the 3-star hotels. A bit far to walk to the major city centre attractions but public transport is near by.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Andreotti. It was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Rome, walking distance to the Metro, the central bus station and the main railway station. One can take the double decker tourist bus with an open top from this area and get off at various monuments, and get back on another bus after visiting the monument, one can do this as many times as one likes for one daily fee. The front office staff were very fluent in English and very helpful. There are great little restaurants with side walk cafes close to the hotel. The US dollar does not go very far as things are rather expensive lunch for two cost us 30 Euros about 38 dollars and dinner with wine just about 80 dollars.
If you buy goods for more than 150 Euros at any one store you maybe eligible for a 20% VAT refund if you are not a ECC resident.

Overall, the Andreotti is a great deal for the money.
