Have just returned today from a long-weekend stay at this hotel.
As far as 3 star hotels go, this wasn't a great one. While the rooms were clean and well decorated, the air conditioning was poor (the requests to reception to turn it up fell on deaf ears) and 2 days running our used towels were taken and not replaced...requiring more visits to reception. We also had to leave a 20 euro deposit in order to have the tv remote controls, which was returned at the end of the stay.
Beware of the strange bathroom setup, a shower inbetween the toilet and basin, in a tiny little room, with no defined space of its own...everything gets wet!
As mentioned in other reviews, the breakfast is poor - consisting of either a bread roll or croissant and instant machine-made tea and coffee (why on earth would you go to Italy for Cappucino and end up drinking from an instant coffee machine...uurgh!). Eat elsewhere would be our advice...
Also, a word of warning about the location...it is a run down area and next door to the hotel is a 'Live Music Venue'. Each night music was played until 2am - loudly. So loudly in fact, that we believed it to be coming from the next room until further investigation revealed the source.
On a more positive note, the staff were all very friendly especially the gentleman who worked the night shift, and all spoke very good english.
The hotel was reasonably well placed for transport links and there is a good restuarant around the corner (turn right outside the hotel and right again), the decor is basic but the food is very good and cheap.....
Overall, we would describe our stay here as 'ok' but would only use it again as a last resort. We have stayed in better 3 star hotels that are more centrally located, but it was clean and safe and I guess you could probably do worse.
