I stayed at the Airport Palace hotel for a week (24/5-31/5), and it was okay. I definetely wouldn't give the hotel 4 stars, but it was good enough for me!

The rooms were a bit small and messy, but there was a little fridge (handy because there is a supermarket near by so you can buy your drinks there and drink them at your room ;)), a hair dryer, and a nice shower.

The staff was a bit unfriendly sometimes. But diner was well organised. Diner wasn't very tasty but that depends on your taste off course! The staff during diner was fast, and especially one waiter was very cute! (off course, that also depends on your taste ;))

Overall my stay was okay, but if you're looking for luxury and helpfull staff (for instance carrying your luggage to the room), you shouldn't stay at this hotel!

The worst problem in this hotel is its staff. Unhelpfull and unforgiving in the quest to achieve nothing for their guests. A good description for this hotel would be " circling vultures". I have unfortunately had to stay a while within its walls but never again. The untruths and constant battles with billing of internet services. The creative accounting for meals. The lack of access to telephone or even a power sockets. I never had problems with cleaning on the 6th floor. Just the broken lifts which prevented me getting to it. This place has so far left me with a bad taste of Italy a country with a legendly reputation for food. In the palace hotel it would be a myth! If anyone tries to send you here refuse! Even if they have grounded you.

This is the worst hotel we stayed in in our life, it is a real dump; half a star is more than enough for this garbage. No heaters in the rooms, no towels in the bathrooms, the frozen food they serve is ... frozen, the rooms stink, no electrical plugs, an old 14 inch tv with a worn out remote control with5 italian channels only, nail debris on the carpet, hair in the food....It was a night of hell; we froze, got out at 6am on the first bus (50standing people, 25 seated) to Fiumicino airport although our flight was at 5 pm.
Who awarded them the stars ? How can there be such a rip off in Europe?

Booked into the hotel by Alitalia as I was doing some work on their behalf ie no choice of hotel....
I've stayed in hotels the world over and this is actually the worst. Room on fifth floor actually has no power points or desk to work at (obviously not geared towards the business traveller then.) Along with this, reception is chaos, checking in is like trying to get a pint in a London pub on New Years Eve, i also actually had to double check with reception that the restaurant was one and not a soup kitchen.
Room & public area filthy. Staff generally have the "why the [--] are you asking me" approach.
Please, if you have the choice, don't come here...I will be complaining bitterly to my boss.
