The hotel has a good location near the Termini and helpful staff. Overall fine but could improve the light in the dining room which is a bit on the darker side.

We have just returned from this hotel having spent our honeymoon there, and really wished we picked a different hotel.

Firstly we thought the hotel looked ok from the front and in the reception area, and the female receptionist that checked us in was friendly and helpfull. The lift was tiny for the size of the hotel and very slow, it was actually quicker for us to walk the 10 flights of stairs to our room ok the 5th floor.

Our room was of a an average size and quite clean apart from the dodgy air conditioning unit above the door and the absolutely disgusting shower head.
We would advise anybody that is thinking of stopping here not to leave any lose change in your room, as regardless of wether you want it or not the house keeping staff will take it. We had left money on the table for drinks we had taken from the mini bar, as a reminder for us to pay for them on check out which it stated on the price list, after a nice day out we returned to find the room had been cleaned but also that the money had been taken!! We checked with reception if housekeeping had handed the money in to cover the mini bar bill and they informed us they hadn't.

Our biggest complaint however is the fact that we could of missed our flight home due to the incompetence and bare faced lies from a male member of reception staff. We experienced problems trying to reconfirm our airport transfer for our return flight, so we asked the man at reception if he could help us. He tried ringing the number while we were there but no one was answering so he told us to leave it with him and he would sort it out and confirm our transfer. After a lovely day sight seeing when given our room key we were handed our paper work and told that our pick up had been confirmed for the next day at 4pm. The following day 4pm came and went, no airport transfer turned up we had to phone the uk emergency number to see what was going on. We were told that nobody had contacted the company to confirm our pick up so we were not on the list. This came as quite a suprise as the reception staff had assured us it had been confirmed, and had even written this on our paper work.

If you wish to stay at a hotel that has dirty shower heads your money grows legs of its own and told bare faced lies by the staff, then by all means stay here we certianly wont be staying here again and are in the process of making an official complaint through our travel agent.

Clean room, TV worked, Shower head needed to be replaced. Room was cleaned every
day. I liked the breakfast. If you asked at the desk, they gave on a free code for the
lobby wi-fi, (which is a tad slow). There is a small bar in the lobby, which isn't manned
all the time, so one needs to ask at the desk for service. At the 'La Gallina Bianca'
around the corner, I had the best pizza of my life. There was 1 homeless person hanging
around across the street, and while the train station is nearby, this hotel is far enough away
to feel safe and comfortable in the neighborhood. A few steps to the west down Via
Urbana, takes one into a very cool area.

ignore the bad reviews on this hotel.we went in sept the rooms were spotless and cleaned every day.the breakfast was continental and plenty of choice.the staff all spoke english and were always happy to help with any questions.if on a short trip we suggest a tour on the open top bus the red 110 buses are good but there are others to choose from.the hotel is near the main railway station but note trains to airport leave from platform 25 not 24.
