When I booked this hotel, I read reviews saying that it was a bit far from the center. I need to clarify that it IS far from the center, and not just a bit. I admit, I should've checked the map before booking. My husband and I can walk long distances (and truth be said, the walk to the nearest metro is not even that long) but having a 21 month old baby with you just makes it challenging. Especially when you consider the lack of escalators/lifts at the metro stations to accommodate commuters with strollers. Bottomline: If you enjoy the luxury of going back to your hotel mid-day to relax or freshen up before hitting the sights again, this is not the right hotel for you. On the other hand, if you like to stay in a hotel away from tourists, then this could work for you.The rooms are not that spacious but clean. I always like it when they have a mini-bar fridge. Basic necessities are provided except for lotion. I forgot mine and was a bit annoyed that they didn't have any. Breakfast wasn't exciting and the hotel lobby looks bare and lacks that cozy feeling.
