This Hotel is very well presented, the bedrooms are large but a little sparse, that said the room was very clean with a nice balcony and beautiful gardens.

The Breakfast was continental but still very adequate.

The hotel is a little out from the centre of Rome but it only costs 1 euro to get there by the Metro (Cornelia is the best stop) do use use the Metro it is very efficient

A taxi from Termini Station will cost 45 euros (after haggling it down from 75) always haggle!!

Also when travelling from the Airport to Termini Station use the Romas Service buses ithey cost 6 euro's per person, do do use the Terravision bus (They only have one bus that runs from the airport to the station and back and that takes more than an hour) there is aways huge queues waiting for it and it cost 7 euros )Be warned if your are not in the first 50 waiting for the bus you will have to wait in the blazing for well over an hour for its return.

We stayed at this hotel as part of the Cosmos Splendors of Italy tour. I highly recommend this hotel!!!

This hotel was GORGEOUS! Patricia, our tour guide explained that it use to be a private reisdence, but if this was a private residence it was HUGE. The rooms here were more likes suites, we had our own kitchen area with a table and chairs, a couch, tv, and then another room with a bed and two balconies! The bathroom was extra clean and no funky smells! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone traveling there. The hotel was about a 30 mintue walk from the Vatican and a 10 mintue walk to a metro station. It was the best hotel we stayed in the entire trip!

We decided to take it easy that evening and chose to eat in the hotel. There were several weddings going on but the food was pretty good. It was our most expensive dinner while in Italy. We retired to our room rather early to watch some more CNN because it was the only station that spoke English and went to bed early.

  • Liked — The room was fantastic and clean!
  • Disliked — It was a little out of the way.

We came here with our Kumuka Tour group. The hotel itself is quite nice. Our room had a queen size bed (rare in Europe!) with a little kitchenette and a nice bathroom. Unfortunately, several people from our tour group, including myself, had things stolen from thier rooms. The hotel would not own up to it. Wouldn't go back there purely because I don't think it's safe. Nothing wrong with the hotel itself, just the staff.

  • Liked — It was a really nice hotel
  • Disliked — Having a staff member steal things out of my suitcase.

Stayed at the hotel with my family (party of 5) while on a Trafalgar tour. The rooms were very spacious with balcony, sofa, small dining table with a couple of chairs, refridgerator, clean, however, tiles around the bathtub could do with some bleach, very pleasant dining area, filling breakfast with a decent selection to choose from and delicious cappuccino. Good air conditioning; it was close to 100 degrees during my visit. There are a few places to eat nearby, also large grocery store. It is also a few minutes by taxi to the city center, approx. 12 euros.

We were booked at this hotel through Cosmos (Globus), on a recent two week tour of Italy. Keep in mind this was my first time traveling abroad. The shower was TINY, the elevators were TINY, the beds were TINY, but the rooms were big and most had a kitchenette and a fabuous balcony looking over the city. It's an old hotel, but clean and mostly comfy. The hotel staff was really nice, especially the lady working in the gift shop. They have a lot of cute things in there for reasonable prices. The entrance to the hotel is lined with cypress trees and is absolutely beautiful. There's a market nearby where mostly locals shop, very few people there spoke English, so it was fun to try out my language skills. "Scusi? Posso? Quanto?" We walked to the market for lunch two days in a row. If walk out of the main vehicle entrance of the hotel and turn left on the sidewalk it's about a block and a half I'd say. Once you pass the petrol station you'll see it on the other side of the road. There's a big sign on top of the market that just says "Marketo". You can't miss it. There's a pizzaria where they serve all kinds of toppings, it was decisioso! A couple of butchers and plenty of wine and cheese. There's also several booths where you can pickup necessities like toothbrushes, underwear and socks, nightgowns, etc.

  • Liked — Safe and convienient location.
  • Disliked — Shower size.
