It is the worst hotel i ever experience,they said to us that we should clean the toilet after we use it. every day, if we didn't ask shampoo and soap, they would not give to us. Hotel is like jail. every time we went in, we should push two times door bell to open the door.

Our stay at Hotel Sweet Home in Roma was fine. It wasn't it the best of neighborhoods, but coming from NYC that's okay. The hosts were kind and helped us get our trip started. The room was large and everything was clean and comfortable, though the window was padlocked (due to the neighborhood) and we had a hard time getting fresh air. For the amount of money we spent I thought it should have been better quality all around, and I know we could have stayed at a nicer place for the same amount. Skip the breakfast, it was just awful. Go to the corner and order a cafe and dolce to start your day. But all in all it was fine - we walked everywhere (we are athletic) and we had a good time going up and down the big hill to get back to the hotel. I recommend this place for students, budget travelers, romantic holidays, and especially people who like to walk and walk. You can easily take buses, taxis, and trains from this locale but you are better off walking from this hotel to the sights in order to really get to know Rome and how wonderful it is. I would stay here again if I couldn't find anything cheaper and would be fine.
