We stayed at this hotel in early September for 2 nights on our Trafalgar Tour through Europe. It was a lovely hotel, it is an old monastery converted into a hotel and it is located about a 20 minute drive from the centre of Rome. The rooms are very modern, clean & lovely with all the amenities you need. The bathroom is modern but only small; remember it was an old monastery so that’s why the rooms are small. The hotel has a lovely bar/café in the centre of the building out in the sun where you can sit and relax.
The drinks and light meals are very well priced.
Rome is an amazing city full of so much history it will blow your mind. Must sees: The Vatican including a visit to the Sistine Chapel & St Peter’s Basilica, visit the inside of the Colosseum, The Roman Forman, toss a coin in the beautiful Trevi Fountain, visit the Pantheon and have a meal in our favourite piazza the Piazza Novona it’s beautiful, and go to an authentic Italian restaurant and have as many courses as you can eat. Take a day tour or an overnight stay to the Amalfi Coast, it’s absolutely breath taking, it’s about a 3 hour drive by bus from the centre of Rome. The only disappointing thing about Rome is all the graffiti it’s everywhere and it was probably the dirtiest city we visited throughout Europe, but Rome has so many amazing monuments you really do look past it. We would go back and yes we would stay at this hotel again but only on a tour, if not a tour I would suggest staying closer to the centre of Rome. We came back to Rome for 4 nights after a Greek Island cruise and stayed at Hotel Canada. It was a great hotel and close to everything. I have put a review up on Hotel Canada.
