This was my first trip to Rome with my sister-in-law. We asked the hotel for a room with a view if at all possible and they obliged with a room with terrace as big as the room itself and fantastic views over the city. The location was fantastic, about 10 mins walking from the Forum and Colloseum, less from the Pantheon. Everything was clean and really comfortable, staff all pleasant and helpful.
The best thing we did was embark on a tour of the Vatican City with a guide called Angelo Carotenuto. He was absolutely brilliant and we learned so much from him, and promptly booked a walking tour with one of his colleagues for the following night. Would not visit Rome without them now! It was my second stay at this very well located hotel. For what they charge, it is a good choice. Breafkast is good, rooms are clean and the staff is nice. Was surprised that the internet available on the TV was free of charge. Would stay there again.

Location, location, location! We can't say it enough. This hotel was central to all the sites we wanted to see - Pantheon, St. Peter's Cathedral, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, Coliseum, Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona. We walked everywhere. There was no need to hail a cab or hop on a bus.
The hotel itself was fair. The rooms are older but clean. We requested a room on the "quiet" side based on the previous reviews we read. Although there was no view, it was well worth it since the hotel sits on a major avenue.
The included breakfast was terrific and definitely a great way to start our day.
We would recommend this hotel to our closest friends and family. We would definitely stay here again based solely on the location.

We've just returned from a long weekend in the Hotel Della Torre Argentina. The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere easily. The room was more than we expected – big enough, comfortable, quite, and clean - Excellent value.
The staff was nice, helpful, spoke good English and did their best.
The breakfast buffet is varied and gives you a good start for the day.
We'll definitely recommend this hotel to our friends
