My boyfriend and I were in Rome for three days in December. We didn't know what to expect from the hotel. I read some reviews at this site, I think they're rather negative.
In my opinion, the staff of the hotel was very kind. They were helpful to us and we had no complaints at all. We think the room was very small and we were a bit disappointed about the bathroom, because there was no bath! But the shower was oke. The room was very clean. There were clean towels every day.
Breakfast was oke. We got two peaces of bread and crackers with coffee, tea or orange juice.
I can imagine that it's very noisy in the summer, but it makes a great difference if you shut the window.
The hotel is located on a perfect place. It's not necessary to use the bus or metro, you can even walk from the hotel to the Vatican.
During my next visit to Rome, I would stay at Hotel Fiori again!

If anybody has got any questions about Rome or the hotel, I would like to help you.

The hotel itself is in a fantastic location and the room was really nice and big. It is very noisy on Via Nationale when the windows are open, but I was surprised by how much noise the windows cut out when shut.

My complaints about the hotel are about the unhelpful and rude man at reception (the younger one...as the older man was lovely). He spoke on the phone non-stop and wouldn't get off any earlier to assist hotel customers. Understanding a bit of Italian I can tell you they were mainly personal calls.

Also, advice on their taxi service, we booked our return to the airport with their taxi booking service because it cost the same as what we paid on the way in, 45Euro. The taxi was 40 minutes late and the rude man at reception wouldn't let us go down to wait "because we might take any taxi that comes and they won't get their money".

All in all, the hotel itself was really nice, but there are so many nice hotels in Rome that I wouldn't choose to return.

My mom and I stayed here for one night only after staying at Hotel Giardino (which is in the same building and just around the corner). The experience did not compare. Out of 8 hotels we stayed at in England, France and Italy, this was our least favorite. It was noisy and the group of people staying there were loud and were an odd mix. The staff attempted to be nice but mostly watched tv and talked on the phone. Our room was right on Nationale as well as next to the breakfast room so there was no chance of us sleeping in past 7:15. Also, air conditioning was not included and it was too noisy to sleep with the windows open. We paid less and had a much better experience at Hotel Giardino!!

We stayed in a triple room at Hotel Fiori. The room had everything we needed, and was clean for the most part. The wallpaper was coming off from under the A/C unit. For the most part the hotel staff was nice and cordial. As was previoulsly stated the morning guy didnt speak a lick of english making it very hard to ask him why we never recieved our wake up call. The over night gentleman was very abrasive and hard to talk to. It got to the point where we just wanted to avoid him at all costs. The hotel was in an excellent location, walking distance to everything except Vatican City. This hotel was ok, and if not for the one rude staff member the staff was helpful enough. I think when I return to Rome I will look into other options.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights having read reasonably good reviews on trip advisor. It was central to nearly all the main sites and competitively priced so met our standard requirements! However, from the moment of our arrival our expectations were dashed by the attitude of the member of staff at reception. He queried our booking asking if we realised that we had booked a double room with a double bed. My husband is older than I am and we felt humiliated by his rude and patronising attitude. The rooms and bathroom were clean but basic. We experienced the same noise levels as other members have mentioned. The breakfast was very basic consisting of 1 roll and 1 croissant only (with the usual accompaniments). There is also no bar at the hotel despite what some websites say. On the plus side it is very central and within walking distance to most of the main attractions with some bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away.
Overall we enjoyed our trip but would not return to the Hotel Fiori and we would not recommend it to anyone that we knew.
