I have stayed at this hotel more than once and would highly recommend it if staying in Rome. It is in a great location close to the termini and within walking distance of attractions and restaurants. As in previous reviews, the best asset the hotel has are the staff. They are very friendly and will do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They are on hand to give you directions, recommendations, book taxis, everything. I think the breakfast could be improved by providing some fresh fruit and breads. The rooms are compact (similar to most hotels in Rome) but are clean and well appointed. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner but was ok. Fresh towels and products every day. Overall good value for money considering the location and service

We can't say enough how friendly and helpful the staff were! They recommended 2 different restaurants for dinner, and both were excellent! The hotel is within walking distance to all the attractions we wanted to see - except for the Vatican which was only a short train ride away. We would definitely return to this hotel!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rome for 5 days. I stayed at the Hotel Giuliana and just loved it. It is a small, family owned and very friendly hotel in a good location. It is near Santa Maria Maggiore, the Termini and the Repubbilca Metro stop and the owners are wonderful, warm helpful and caring people. I was traveling with another woman and was concerned that we have a safe as well as convenient location and this hotel was just that. All of their recommendations for food, transportation and shopping were right on the mark. They were very accomadating in arranging anything we asked for as well as our transportation back to the airport.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Rome.

This was our first vacation to Rome and we were going on a recommendation of a friend for a hotel. The Hotel Giuliana and its staff were a perfect fit for this holiday. The room was very clean!! It was average sized but we spent all our time visiting the amazing Colliseum, Vatican, Trevi fountain etc. All of these were in close proximity to our hotel, some requiring more walking than others. We highly recommend the Hop On Hop Off bus tours. Our concern was being within close proximity to the termini for our trip to the airport. This termini is only a couple of blocks away. The cute outdoor market was in the street just up from our hotel. Right next door is a wonderful bar/cafe with great food and gelato. The vegetable pizza we discovered in Rome was delicious as well as the great house wines.
The hotel has some of the best coffee ever!! The staff was excellent about providing an early breakfast for us before our excursions or tours.
Can't wait to return to both Rome and Hotel Giuliana.
