This hotel had very helpful, friendly staff. We stayed her for 5 nights so we could go sightseeing. We walked everywhere, and found all attractions within easy reach. For those who don't like walking or find it difficult there is the convenience of the Metro nearby. Continental style breakfast which included cereals, fruit and yogurt. Our room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel with my friend. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the breakfast buffet, which was in deed not overwhelming but to our satisfaction. Our room was not at all small with a balcoon and a comfortable bath. It was clean and bright with a huge TV channel selection and a fridge with minibar. The stuff was very helpfull and friendly. The busstation to the towncenter is close by. It is right that it was a bit noisy because of the street, but we slept with open balcoon door. With earplugs I had a beutyfull sleep anyway. And: where in Rome is it really calm? All in all it was really good value for money.

Recently visited Rome for 4 days and stayed in this hotel booked as part of a package from lastminute.com. Had booked a triple room even though there were just two of us (hoping for more space), but was initially given a very narrow room on the 6th floor with 2 single beds and only an attic window. Asked to be moved to somewhere more airy and was given a much nicer room on the 5th floor with a big bed and balcony. Noisy at night and the lift is like stepping into the 50's (can just about squeeze 2 people in there!) but the location is great and staff very helpful. About a 10 minute walk to the metro which takes you to all the sights in Rome. From Leonardo Airport, take the Leonardo Express to Termini (€11) , then get the bus from main bus stand about 5 mins up the road. Buses 36, 90 and 90d take you straight to the hotel, get off at Aprile XX1. Drivers are very helpful and will let you know where to get off. I've never been to Rome before nor am great with directions but the public transport is really simple to use, buses and trains take you everywhere, dont waste money on taxi's! Breakfast is rather basic, cereal and croissants, no dinner service/restaurant and decor needs updating but all in all, good value for money and location/cleansiness makes up for the negatives.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband and 2 friends!
This hotel was a real find! Rooms were small but that didn't matter as we literally slept in them! Although small they were comfy, warm, and spottlessly clean! Towels and bed linen got changed every day and room cleaned. Only had to put a 10 euro dept down for safety dept boxes in rooms.
The hotel staff, Emmanuel in particular were brilliant, their English is amazing and they have great knowledge about Rome and how to get around!
The breakfast was your basic continental but was enough for us to stock up with for our busy days ahead!
Foyer was lovely, warm and friendly with planety of seating!
It is a little out of the centre which we found ideal as it ment it was a bit quieter from the mayhem of Rome. It took 10-15 mins on the bus to get to centre right next to the Colosseum and Emmanuel building! We then brought a 3 day public transport ticket which includes trams, buses and underground. We got this from ticket place right next to Colosseum!
Our trip was amazing but it was made all the better by staying here, it was deffinatly value for money and I would recommend it to anyone and be very happy to stay here again!
We managed in our trip to see:
Emmanuel building(worth paying 7 euros to take glass lift to roof for panoramic views)
Colosseum-my favourite place
The Vatican- stunning place and worth going to the top of the dome (cupular i think it's called) Bit disapointed that the guards shout at you in sistine chapel and no photos!
The Pantheon
The Trevi fountain- close fav but even more beautiful at night
The Spanish steps- very busy with no flowers like they show in all the photos!
Other little gems along the way!
The best place I think i've been! Loved Rome, the food, the people, the company and especially the hotel!!

Just back from Rome on 7th March, stayed at hotel for 2 nights and would recommend it to all. Rooms were small but immaculate with en-suite, mini-bar and cleaned each day. The hotel is in an ideal location for eating out in the evenings to avoid paying the extortionate prices in the city centre. Highly recommend both San Marino Pizzeria restaurants just up the road from hotel. Breakfast fine but beware of the waiter who works so fast that if you leave your table unattended for even 30 seconds it will be cleared before you get back!!! Not a problem though - we thought this was rather funny.
Exit hotel, turn left walk up to bus stop or walk into centre in 30 mins, perfect.
