“Perfect for the city trip !!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2014

we stayed in this hote for a week and if we plan next trip to Rome we will certainly be taking in account this hotel again - good location on metro line , next to appia attica ... double bed room is quiet large with standard furnishings a nd equipment (TV, hair dryer, telephone,..) with free wifi.
Our windows were not situated to the main street nevertheless we still were hearing the life under our room on čth floor :D
Breakfest was standard for all italian hotels but calm or terrace ...
Many possibilities to have a dinner (restaurants, pizzas, asian bistros,..)
Service was without problems, stuff in reception friendly and helpful...
Rome is excellent place for all culture , sightseeings and history lovers... and very romantic. .. I hope that was not our last Roman holiday ...

I went to this hotel this weekend and there was a lot of problems.
First, we booked the transfer from the hotel for 5 people, the guy was wainting for us with the information only for 2 people,we had to go in 2 turns to the hotel.then, we arrived with the reservation papers for 3 rooms, they only booked 2 rooms, bad, very bad.on the morning, we had breakfast included and the guy asked us for money..also very bad..of course i didnt pay anything.the following night, we got the third room, result, no wifi!the 1st floor dont has wifi, she said.after i mencioned the complaint book, we got a new one.in the next days, they asked us the money for the breaksfast again. No updated information between them. It was terrible to stay here, so many problems. The only good thing was the cleaning and that is close to the Metro station. I dont recomend this.

Room Tip: Please confirm your reservation with them if you made one online.to many mistakes with my reservatio...

This hotel is about 30 minutes outside Rome by taxi however there is a metro station about 5 minutes walk away with trains running every few minutes although they can be a little busy. On first look at the surrounding area you would think that the hotel is not very good, however when you get inside it looks okay. The rooms are nicely decorated and are kept very clean. The only issue that we had with the hotel is the limited choice of continental breakfast 2 choices of meat and cheese and some cereals and fruit. The rooms do not have any tea or coffee making facilities however there is a nice pizzeria just outside the hotel with a great choice of food and drink.

Room Tip: Due to Italian law there is a 3 euro 50 cents charge per person per night tax that is excluded from...

The room was okay, the breakfast was average in both quality and quantity. It's close to the metro station but it takes some time to get to the city center. When we first arrived though we got lost so make sure you have a map or something.

You get what you pay for I suppose. Staff very friendly but rooms let it down. We were moved after first night as first room was terrible. If your offered 303 decline straight away! Location is close to metro then 15 mins to centre but the location I felt was very run down and dirty and felt a little unsafe.

We stayed here for our 3 day honeymoon to Rome (without out baby!) and it was great. If you go to Rome you don't expect to spend much time in the hotel, so this suited us perfectly. Lovely reception staff, breakfast included, wifi only worked in some rooms but computer in reception anyway.

We recently visited Rome for a long weekend and stayed at the City Guest House. When we arrived it took us a while to find so make sure you google directions first. It's about 5 minutes walk from the metro, in a residential area, which at first looks a little 'dodgy' but is actually very quiet and the locals are very helpful. Don't let first impressions put you off. We felt very safe. The hotel itself is basic, but the staff are friendly and give great tips on how to get about. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable, and most importantly (especially when travelling in July) air conditioned! Breakfast was ok...I've had worse! The nearby metro is about 10 minutes journey to termini which isn't too bad.
The absolute best thing is the little restaurant next door. The menu is all in Italian, and it's always packed full of locals, but very friendly, reasonably priced compared to the city which is very expensive, and the food was out of this world so make sure you visit!
