My sister and I stayed at this hotel during our recent holiday. Having read reviews on Tripadvisor, we were more than happy with our room. Although not huge it wasclean and comfortable enough for two people without being in each others space. The bathroom was quite large compared to some of the other hotels that we had previously stayed in. Breakfast was included in the cost and the dining room was easy to locate, with free coffee throughout the day if necessay, and breakfast was a nice combination of hot and cold foods. The location to Termini Station was excellent and was easy to find. We arrived in Rome after having had a wallet stolen and needing assistance to contact police and credit card agencies and the staff on reception couldnt have been more helpful and courteous. If you are looking for a comfortable 3 star hotel you cant go past this one

We stayed at this hotel for one night as it was recommended by our Travel Agent as it was close the the Termini and we would be joining a tour the following day. Although it is close to the Termini, we would definitely not stay here again, it is worth paying the extra money for taxis to stay somewhere else. The room, although clean, was so dark and creepy and the facilities very old. The pictures look better (???) than the actual hotel. This hotel should really be only a 2 star hotel. Would not recommend it and would not stay here again.

I am really surprised this hotel has decent reviews. We booked our hotel room late and there wasn't many hotels available so I booked with Milani after reading the reviews. The only good thing about the hotel is it is near the train station and you can walk to most areas of Rome. However, I found the front desk staff to be very rude and not helpful. The hotel could use a good painting and the hallways smelled like smoke. I paid to use the internet and it hardly worked, it took forever to log onto email. The breakfast was below average. The coffee was from a machine and it was horrible. Every morning there wouldn't be enough napkins or plates or coffee cups. The beds were old and sunk in the middle.

We booked a triple room but were impressed to find that we had been given a suite, 2 separate rooms with bathroom off a lobby area. Free refreshments available downstairs when the bar was not attended. We arrived before midday but our room was ready at no extra charge. Baggage storage facilities available at no extra charge. The rooms were cool, had good storage, lots of space and a fridge in the single room, a safe was also installed. There are no restaurant facilities but the staff are happy to give advice about local eateries. The breakfast bar comprises a selection of croissants, pastries and breads, bacon and egg, fresh and tinned fruit, breakfast cereals, ham, cheese, eggs and salad, hot and cold drinks and wrapped snacks and biscuits that can be taken away.
This is located off the main road and is quiet, however, it is within a few minutes walk of the rail termini and bus station. What really makes this place is the friendliness of the staff, nothing is too much trouble, the porter helped us with our Italian while he cleaned, reception endlessly marked places to visit and the bus numbers we needed to get on, their local knowledge of where to get an open oven baked pizza, or where to feed a fussy teenager was invaluable.

We spent 6 days in Rome & booked the Milani Hotel for our base. It is very well situated & very clean internally. The staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was from a wide selection of hot & cold food, a good sized dining area well managed.

One mistake we did make was to take a taxi from the Airport to the hotel, 50 euros !! On the return trip we got a coach from the Terminal for 6 euros each, they run every 30 minutes until 11.00pm
