“Very Close to Roma Termini”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012

Just 5 mins by walk from Roma Termini. Stayed there for 2 nights. Breakfast was brilliant. Rooms were ok, nothing great but not bad. Bathroom was big unlike other hotels in Rome. Staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly. Get their inputs to plan for your sightseeing and dining. Nothing fancy but go for it if your plan is to stay near Roma Termini.

Stayed for a night here as there was no other available on short notice. It was clean, and ideal if you are sightseeing all day and need a place to crash. Not fancy at all but fairly priced. Good for a short stay.

AS many other people already mentioned, the best thing of this hotel is the location; it is very well-located, just 2 blocks away from the termini. The hotel itself is not that good: building is very old, bedroom is small and lacking furniture, personnel is just polite and the breakfast is just ok. However, since the hotel doesn't have any big issue, it is worth it because of the location. It's really convenient.

Stayed at this hotel from August 6th to August 13th. We had 2 rooms in their new section (319 and 423). Beds and bathrooms were very clean. Do not expect a well decorated room, this is not an Hampton Inn, but this hotel has all you need. Towels, soap, shampoo were changed every day.
Breakfast was good, except for the bacon. It was not cooked enough. You can eat, sliced cheese, ham croissants, danishs, hard boiled eggs, scramble eggs, etc...
WiFi= you have to pay ( 8 hours for 4 euros).
If you need to buy bottle water, go to the Termini station, McDonalds sell a 500 ml bottle for 1 euro. Chef Express sells bigger bottles (1L).
If you need a good restaurant near by, go to Babbo's, Via Volturno, 13, 00187 Rome, Italy. It is a 8 to 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
The Greenline tours are just on the other side of the Termini station. If you can get Philippo as a tour guide, he is the best. Got him for the Vatican and Tivoli tours.
The hotel is less then 4 minute walk of the Train station. very convenient when you want to do day trips to Florence or Venice. Trains leaves for these destinations at 6h45 in the morning.
Bring your GPS if you have one. Indications in Rome are not always easy. We were glad to have one.
If you have an iPod, download the ; Tripadvisor City guides. You have access to maps and other infos Offline.
The language is NOT a problem. We got all the informations and been served in English in Rome, Florence and Venice and Tivoli.
Rick Steves travel guide is a gem, but not for the maps. Get a good map.
Get a good pair of shoes because you will walk, rome metro is NOT near every thing.

I am in the process of staying at this hotel for 4 nights. It holds a great location & so far everyone seems very friendly & can't do enough for you. Rome is an expensive place but this hotel is great value for money. The breakfast is one of the better ones I've seen for Italian hotels.

my mother and i have just returned from a 5 day break in rome and had a really great time,we stayed at the hotel milano and were very pleased with our choice,we caught the terravision bus
from the airport right to termimi station, then it was a couple of minutes walk to the hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean and had a mini fridge, safe, the rooms arnt large but we only slept
there so it was plenty big enough for us, The breakfast was very good plenty of choice and there was free tea coffee squash all day in the tv room we would definately stay there again. We went on the hop on hop off bus tour which is good value, food and drinks especially are very expensive in Rome but there are some lovely sights to see just eat and drink away from the main attractions

Room Tip: we stayed in room 419 not much of a view we were at the back but wasnt in much and room was quiet a...
