Just returned from my 3 night stay at the Hotel Adriano with my girlfriend and parents. ( Jan 26 2006 - jan 29 2006 )

Really good first impression of the hotel when we arrived, julio took our luggage to our room and the concierge kindly showed us on a map where we were and the main attractions.

The Rooms were perfect, Nice and Clean, Perfect size, nice bathroom with tub. Minibar, and tv with skynews and bbcworld. All you can ask for. There is even an elevator so you dont have to take the steps after a long day of walking.

The public areas are really beautifully renovated and just finished, with a nice and cosy atmosphere. Nice furnitures aswell.

The breakfast area is really beautiful aswell, also just renovated, with comfy chairs.
The Breakfast... you dont get it any better in Rome. Perfect! All you need. To types of bread, the, coffee, cheese, ham, jam, honey, to types of yougurt, and fruit. And a little detail... you boil your own egg..so you get it just like you want it. Nice! Cold milk, Warm Milk, different kind of juice.... i could go on.

The Location.
Do i have to mention it. Its PERFECT! Located in a little street in the middle of everything. You can walk to it all. Phanteon 3-4 min. Spanish steps 5-10 min and so on.... We didnt use any transportation at all other than our feet.
And there is restaurants, shops and all the things u need just around the corner.

All in all a perfect stay. And i would definitely recommend it to everyone who visit Rome.

I booked it through Hotelconnect and got 3 nights for 2 nights price. Worked Perfectly! Would Recommend.

Another thing. If you dont want the hazzle of argueing with cap drivers or take the bus and metro to get to your hotel from the airport.
you book it throug their website and u dont pay upfront. They pick u up at the airport and take u straight to ur hotel, for just 35 Euros.

Taxis are 40 euros and the hotel offered me a pick up for 55 euros. So the deal is the cheapest.
I booked a return and they where right on time both times. Nice drivers aswell and nice cars. Mercedes.

Hope this was usefull.

Have a nice stay

Daniel & Cathrine

PS: Its says 3 star, but our guidebook rate it 4 star! And so would we!

Went to Rome in September 2005 with my mother, aunts, cousins and a nun (don't ask, I am a lasped Catholic and with hindsight I think this was a bit of an attempted stitch-up to be honest). We were initally due to stay in a convent (!) and that fell through so I was naturally suspicious about the new choice of "hotel" and looked it up on Tripadvisor. It had mostly good reviews and certainly lived up to its reputation when I was there. Lovely place, great location, in fact, the location is the best thing about it. It really is within walking distance of most of the sights of Rome, I walked to the Pantheon in about 5 minutes flat. Service was mostly good, room large and bed spacious and very comfy. The only downside was the morning bun-fight, otherwise known as breakfast. No organisation at all, and complete chaos when different cultures mixed, ie us Brits politely queuing to go in the dining room through gritted teeth whilst other people swanned in as if they didn't have a care in the world - which I suppose they didn't, as they were getting their breakfast..

All in all a top place in the most ridiculously photogenic place I have ever seen. Divine indeed.

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Adriano.
We found the hotel well-run, comfortable, clean, with an excellent choice of food at breakfast and being located extremely conveniently to access most of the city on foot. Throughout our stay we easily walked to whatever we wished to see, without the need to use public transport. Of course half the pleasure is to walk around such a fascinating city as Rome...and knowing that you can return to a pleasant hotel to rest-up until the next day's exertions makes a big difference!

Just got back from a 3 day trip to Rome (Nov 05) and stayed at this hotel. Very nice, very clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and helped us plan our sightseeing tour perfectly! Rooms are well decorated with new furniture, beds could have been bigger, but were very comfortable. Our bathroom was a little on the small side, but not a problem. They are refurbishing at the moment, but its nearly complete and we barely noticed it. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful.

BIG PLUS WITH THIS HOTEL! the location. 5 mins walk to Piazza Navona and Pantheon, 10 mins walk to Spanish Steps and 15 mins to the Vatican (if that). Honestly you can walk EVERYWHERE from here! Its also very quiet tucked away from the busy and noisy main roads, which was also a HUGE plus point (rome streets, not the quietest!). Oh and metered taxi price from/to Termini Station 11 euro's. DONT GET RIPPED OFF!

We just got back from Rome and the Hotel Adriano (Nov 4-8, 2005). Most of the staff was very helpful. Room we were initially given was very small and I had previously requested a double superior, which when we asked if one had come available, they remembered and we were immediately transferred - room 305. Lovely corner room - spacious, very clean and bath was also great. Obviously more money, but definately worth it. It was noisy, but where isn't there street noise on Rome's tiny narrow streets? Very clean throughout.

Breakfasts were very acceptable with rolls, meats, cheeses, eggs, and fruit (although canned). Very nice breakfast rooms.

The location was indeed the selling feature for us! It is located within walking distance of EVERYTHING. We did take a taxi to the Vatican because we had a full day planned. They were easily accessible.

The staff is very good about responding to emails and I would highly recommend using this form of communication.
