The hotel was fine in almost all respects. The rooms are very large by the standards in Rome and very clean. The breakfast was fair at best. I am not a fan of the neighorhood. It is similar to most tourist filled high-end shopping districts that you will find in most large cities -- nothing very special to me about it. There are so many neighborhoods in Rome that are much more charming and interesting.

Through via frattina, through a door you enter the corridor of this small and charming hotel. Hotel and rooms are clean.. The room that we stayed in was very good in size. They serve breakfast at their roof on the sixth floor. pretty good choices considering the size of the hotel. I believe it is a good value with a perfect location if you would like to be close to the shopping district. but if you ask me they are more like a three star hotel then a four star one (just considering it as a bouitique hotel)

If you are looking for hotel in excellent location, you find your spot.
DH is a small hotel in excellent location, near the Spanish steps in a quiet street with nice shopping at the hotel doorstep.
Great service by sensitive and accommodating staff
Rooms are clean, quiet and not smelly
Breakfast: superb on the roof location with the sounds of the seagulls and most important good and tasty food selection toped by fresh made espresso and cappuccinos.
However if your looking for an hotel in the center of Rome with parking, big lobby, gym, spa etc’ you will need to keep on looking (and probably pay much more).

We stayed at Daniel's in Spetember 2008. This small hotel is wonderfully located in the middle of everything. All - or almost all -those spectacular attractions of Rome are within a walking distance, and great shopping opportunities as well. Hotel is beatyfully decorated, and the staff is very nice. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace - +++!

However there were some minor things I want to bring out here. Several reviews here mention the hotel is quiet. That may be the case with some of the rooms, but certainly not ours. Be aware of the first floor! Another detail was the jacuzzi - it did not work properly. OK I have to admit I did not report this to the staff - they might have been able to fix it. However this was not so important to us.
