“Beautiful interior”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

What an amazing church! The exterior almost looks like any other building but step inside and its a whole other story. Beautiful interior and of course Bernini's St Theresa. There are some signs in English inside which is helpful too to know what you are looking at.

“Bernini's statue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

This place is well worth a visit if only for the lovely statue by Bernini (The ecstasy of Saint Theresa). Even if you disregard the whole discussion on any underlying meaning of the saint's ecstasy, the statue just shows what a great artist Bernini was: the expression on the face of the saint and the angel, the flow of the clothes,... Awesome!
The church in itself is pretty nice too with all of its baroque, OTT splendor.
Worth a visit - pretty close to the Piazza della Republica & the metro station.

“Beautiful Baroque Style”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

A wonderful church filled with gorgeous golden baroque style decoration and statues. The Famous Saint Theresa of Ecstasy can be found here and it is a beautiful example of the genius of Bernini. A definite must see for any Angels and Demons fan also!

“Beautiful Church”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

I was particually looking for Bernini's L'Estasi di Santa Teresa, but was surprised by this small church which was very highly and beautifully decorated. Walking distance from Termini station it's worth a look. Watch out for opening times (long lunch) and be aware of people using the church.
