We ended up at this hotel completely by accident after our booking at another hotel was mistakenly cancelled. The facade and the lobby are very average. However, the staff was professional and very accomidating, especially considering we showed up with about 30 minutes notice.
The rooms are fairly typical size for a remodeled palazzo = small. The ceilings are high and the furnishings are nicely maintained. The bath is stone tile and is small but very well appointed. The guest rooms were outfitted to four star standards but the size likely keeps this hotel in the three-plus range.
The location is pretty hard to beat. It is just a few blocks from the Piazza Navona and within easy walking distance of the central Rome tourist attractions. The street is busy but sound shutters shut out the noise. Be sure to go up to the little sitting area at night to sip wine and watch the sunset from the rooftop.
