My husband and I had been to Rome several times. The tour of the Jewish Synagogue and Ghetto as well as the tour of the Vatican gave us new insight into these places of interest. Micaela and her partner were very entertaining and very well informed. They were both a vast wealth of knowledge. At the same time if one of the tourists was able to add some information neither Micaela nor her partner were threatened by this.

I would definitely go on Micaela's other tours in Rome. Micaela's tours were a real highlight for our third trip to Italy!

Micaela Pavoncello's ([--]) tour of the Jewish Ghetto in Rome was phenomenal. Full of historical details on a walking tour that took you through the old ghetto, new homes, the Great Synagogue with someone who was born and lives in the area. Wow--even recommendations for kosher restaurants at the end of the tour.

We highly recommend arranging a walking tour of the Jewish Ghetto which includes a visit to the Jewish Museum and Great Synogogue. Micaela Pavoncello and her company Jewish Roma provided an experience our family will remember for quite some time. Her guide, Yael was extremely knowledgable about Ghetto life and she was able to make the area come to life for our children by sharing personal stories of her ancestors. This tour is a must for anyone visiting Rome.

Just returned from a cruise on the Mediterranean and one ot the highlights of the trip was a visit to the Jewish ghetto in Rome. We were advised to contact Micaela Pavoncello, a Roman, Jewish, young woman who guides you through history, as you stroll the ancient and modern streets of what was the Jewish ghetto of Rome. She truely is charming, extremely intelligent, and speaks perfect english.
