“Super clean and convenient”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2014

We stayed here three nights for Rome sightseeing. This place is spotlessly clean. the room was very well equipped, the breakfast absolutely delicious and the hosts were friendly and helpful icThe little mini fridge has lots of good drinks and snacks at reasonable prices.
The street it's on has a very good gelato and sandwich shop (on the corner going away from the Vatican).
Vatican is a five minute walk

Room Tip: We slept in the orange room, which was lovely.

The Castellani A San Pietro gets wonderful reviews and our experience last week confirms that these reviews are fully deserved. The rooms are the standard of a good boutique hotel, the welcome is warm, personal and always helpful, breakfast is a delight and there are many touches of loving care everywhere. A truly exceptional place to stay.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good. Enjoy the home-from-home feeling.

Had a wonderful stay at this Bed and Breakfast! Cynthia, the owner, is welcoming and most helpful. She even walked 2 blocks up the road to help us unload our car and bring luggage to the room. Breakfast was excellent!!! Rooms were clean, spacious with very comfortable beds. Close to subway system and a very short walk to the Vatican. Loved this place and would stay again if / when in Rome! Thank you Cynthia for a lovely stay - my only wish is that we could have stayed longer!

Perfect location, right across the Vatican area, close by to metro, tramway and bus stations that puts you in the city center or in an main interest place in just a few minutes. Silent and safe quarter of town. Perfect when you walk for a long while by town and need a real rest!
The owners are always available from the moment you arrive until your gone. Nice breakfast, prepared just in time... the room is spacious, comfortble and with all one needs.
Only remark: there some interior noise from the corridor but nothing that can damage the very nice general opinion I have about the place.

This mother and son run was a wonderful find on our recent stay in Rome. Don't be put off on arrival by the entrance hall and the fact that there is a flight of stairs to get to the lift. This is a recently refurbished B and B. it is modern and spotlessly clean and was serviced daily to a high standard. breakfast can be taken in your room if you wish to get an early start or can be eaten in the kitchen. Pablo and his mother are both extremely welcoming and helpful and we would certainly wish them the very best for this relatively new business. If you are going to the Vatican it is within 400 m. We found the cafes and restaurants n this area very moderate and touristy. It is well with travelling to find Rome's better restaurants.

Had a great stay here. Location was perfect for St. Peter's - a comfortable 10 min walk with Ottaviano metro 10 mins in the opposite direction. The main entrance is pretty basic and you have to walk up to the first floor to get the lift up to the b+b on the 4th floor but once there it is a little oasis in the middle of the city! Would not be suitable for anyone with a mobility problem.
Cynthia is the perfect hostess, who provided a super breakfast, gorgeous pastries, toasties with ample coffee and tea. The freshly squeezed orange, carrot and apple juice was a highlight! Yogurts, cereal and fresh fruit also available in her little kitchen/diner.
The bedrooms are a good size with a well stocked minibar, free water with reasonably priced wine and beer.
Lots of good restaurants around. Risorgimento round the corner for buses across the city too.
Will definitely return!

Room Tip: Only three rooms. The two smaller rooms have a wee balcony and face onto the back. The biggest one d...
