We had made our reservation to stay here for three nights. We had paperwork confirming our reservation. The day before we were going to drive there, we called to get directions. Rosella answered and said she had no reservation for us. The lady at the hotel where we were staying talked with her for us and Rosella became very rude with her and told her it wasn't her problem that she didn't have our information even though we had paperwork proving it. How unprofessional of her. Thanks to the wonderful Sonia at Locanda Solomeo in Solomeo, Perugia, she found us a place to stay for those three nights. I would advise everyone to not get reservations at this place if you really want to count on having a place to stay. It was very frustrating for us since we knew it would be hard to get reservations at the last minute. Thank goodness for Sonia.

Our advice is don't stay at the Santa Maria Trastevere. They do not treat their customers with respect.
