We (2 adults and teenage daughter) stayed on the orange floor for 5 nights. Excellent central location- 2 mins walk to sights, restaurants, shops, but really quiet in our room. Breakfast was really excellent with a wide variety of cakes, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, eggs, cold meats/salami, juices etc. Staff at desk not gushing, but very helpful when approached :they arranged several trips and booked tickets for us efficiently. Our room was very modern with and big enough for the 3 of us, with a compact bathroom that included a bath tub. It's not cheap, but we felt that it met our needs perfectly.

My family (husband and 3 children) and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in August 2008. The location is great, very central, and on a quiet back street. We were suprised that the hotel had been listed as one of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (we have stayed in others) since we did not rate the service, room refinements and especially the en-suite bathroom. The hotel is somewhat 'wacky' in it's decor and generally unconventional, being a mixture of minimalist and weird, but extremely colourful! The breakfast selection was good and included in the room rate, however we found the hotel generally overpriced. Next time we'll try somewhere else..

Stayed at the Art hotel for a weekend stay, with my wife and another couple. I was pleasantly surprised by the great location (only few steps from the Spanish Steps, in a quiet side road). The hotel is generally clean and well maintained. The breakfast, which was included in our Expedia-rate, is much better (more choice) than you would normally expect in Italy. The room is functional, a firm bed, a modern bathroom. There is a gym in the basement, with a cycle (broken), a stepper, and a running machine. Overall, it feels like a 4-star hotel. A little expensive at €220, but then again it is Rome.

This hotel worked out great for our family. We booked a Quad room that had a king and a double bed, each in its own room. The rooms are set up with a sliding door for privacy. The bathroom has a double sink and overall there is more room than a typical Rome hotel, plenty for the four of us. Hardwood floors and windows that open help to make you feel more at home. This does not have a chain hotel feel to it. Everything was very clean and the room temperature was not a problem.

The hotel staff went out of their way to help us, ordering cabs and suggesting restaurants. There was even a bowl of fruit and a bottle of Champaign awaiting our arrival.

The room came with a buffet breakfast that was very good, the best we had during our Italian trip. Many choices of pastries, meat and cheeses, as well as eggs, bacon and sausages.

The atmosphere is definitely different; it couldn't be more contemporary if it tried. Makes for an interesting stay and my kids loved the colorful floors. Why travel out of the country to stay somewhere boring?

The location is fantastic. Only a block and a half away from the subway and the Spanish Steps. Very close to all the shopping you could ever want, and many restaurants as well. Pretty much everything in the city is walkable or easily accessed by the train. The street was quiet and lined with art galleries. We spent a couple of hours just enjoying the local art scene by walking up and down the street.

If pressed to give a complaint, it would only be the price, we dropped over $900US per night on the room. If you can swing the cash, however, you will not be disappointed.
