Excellent, helpful staff.....the breakfast is lovely with many food item choices. The rooms are very clean. I especially thought the bathrooms were nice, clean, and larger than most. Great location to all the major sites.

We stayed at the Hotel SF on 2 different occasions during our trip to Italy. I found the comments on trip advisor to be very accurate (you never know). Good location, close walking distance to the major sites and numerous trattorias, friendly/helpful staff. The rooms while small by American standards were clean and comfortable and are in line with other hotels we stayed at during the trip.

We stayed at the Hotel San Fracesco for three days in July. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our flight arrived very early from New York City (7 am) and they gave us our room, which was great because we were so exhausted. The hotel is on the fringe of the Travestere, but all of the sights were relatively close and there are several decent places to eat in the area. The only downside was minimal A/C. It was so hot the last day of our stay we have to leave the mini bar open to cool the room. Not neccessarily a deal breaker (more of a tip!).

We have just returned from a four day trip to Rome. The hotel is really worth staying in. Ideally located for sight seeing, the map the hotel gives you is great, shows all the main sights and is easy to follow. in the evenings there lots of excellent bars and restaurants near the hotel, and the are more affordable than the city centre.
The hotel is clean, quiet and the breakfast is great.
