We chose this hotel based on a recommendation from a friend, and we were not disappointed. The location is near the Spanish Steps, metro, American Express office and Borghese Gardens. The rooms were spotless, roomy, quiet and comfortable. We had a quad and a double. Breakfast on the enclosed rooftop terrace was lovely. Hotel staff was friendly and accomodating.

I was nicely surprised. I got much more than expected. Location as said perfect, the service incredible, always at your service. Let us not a beautiful roof terrace to enjoy your breakfast. Full value for your money!

My wife and two young boys (ages 9 & 6) stayed here for four nights. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is ideally located with all the major attractions either a short walk away or a few stops on public transportation. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. We stayed in a family room which was clean, comfortable & roomy for the four of us. However you do have to remember to close all the windows before going to bed otherwise you'll be woken up by the street sounds, but I think this is a problem faced by all the hotels in this area.

Having read the reviews on tripadvisor for this hotel we were not disappointed what a fantastic hotel in Rome 5 of us went to Rome for my mothers 70th birthday we stayed at Hotel Madrid for 3 nights 6th - 9th March 09 we had 1 triple room and one twin room rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean. Staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful location was fantastic within walking distance of Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain and main shopping area.Breakfast was very good much better than we thought it would be. We also booked the minivan through the hotel to pick us up at the airport this was £75 euro for 5 of us which is good for Rome and the driver was there to pick us up and wasn't a maniac on the road!
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome
