Stayed with my family last week. This is an excellent value for money hotel, near TREVI FOUNTAIN and the VATICAN. The reception staff could not have been more helpfull and really went out of their way to be of assistance, arrangeing taxis, giving advice ect
They even went to the Vatican to collect tickets for our group prior to our arrival as we would get in to late to collect them ourselves.
One of our group has limited mobility and was looked after very well indeed

Even before we left for Italy, we had a good feeling about the Parlamento and our feelings were only confirmed when we arrived. Before our trip we communicated occasionally with the Parlamento staff via e-mail regarding transportation options to the other cities we were visiting, arrangements to see a soccer match, and confirming our room. We also used the Parlamento's airport transportation service for 55 EURO. Not so bad when a cab from the airport would be 50 EURO.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were treasured guests in someone's house. While the Parlamento is certainly not the most glamorous hotel that you will ever find, you feel welcome every minute that you are there. Tiziano goes out of his way to help you in any way that he can, from showing you how to walk to a certain destination to offering you a cup of juice when you arrive after a long flight to guiding you to your room to offering expert advice on how to avoid lines at tourist attractions. He was the all-star of the hotel crew. Angelica and Roberto are also friendly, welcoming, and eager to assist.

Location - SPECTACULAR. The only place in all of Rome that we took public transportation to was the Vatican. 5-10 minute walk to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon. 10-20 minute walk to the Colloseum and the Forum, Piazza Navona, the Jewish Quarter, Piazza del Popolo, and Campo de Fiori. 3 blocks away from Via de Convertite, home of the best shopping in all of Rome.

Rooms - Ample. The only two complaints I'd have was that we could not get the in-room television to work, even with the intervention of Angelica (not the worst thing that can happen on a vacation) and the room suffered from a lack of cabinet space for clothes which we would have liked to unpack a little bit more. Still, a comfortable bed, a quiet room, as requested, and really, it's just a place to take a late afternoon nap and sleep at night.

Other features - Breakfast was more than sufficient... grapefruit and orange juice, espresso, american coffee, or cappucino, a variety of cereals, and a variety of cold breads with different spreads. Trust me, you don't want a huge and heavy hot breakfast before a long day of walking. The rooftop garden was a superb way to take an afternoon off from sightseeing... bask in the warm Italian sun, listen to the sounds of Rome, read a book, and sip from a bottle of Chianti.

Bottom line is this - when my wife and I go back to Rome, we can't wait to visit our friends at the Parlamento again. And we would recommend this hotel to anybody who we ever speak to who plans a visit to Rome.

A cozy, quaint, and quiet bed and breakfast so conveniently located, smack in between all of Rome's attractions. Perfect for families and singles alike. Sip on a bottle of wine at dusk while enjoying the spectacular rooftop as the adjacent campanello (bell tower) softly sings. The knowledgeable and attentive staff is the kindest, most charming and 24 hours. If you are party of two, request room 90.

The hotel Parlamento was everything I was looking forward to and more. The location is perfect, minutes away from the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, and Pantheon and also minutes away from the main squares of town where bars and fine restaurants are found. Upon arriving, the owner of the hotel kindly greets us and gives us complimentary orange juice and shows us our room. The room was great, wonderfully decorated, huge nice bathroom, a window with a street view of Rome, and the beds were quite comfortable. The staff at this hotel were amazingly nice and tried so hard to help us plan trips, find restaurants, and get around. The breakfast was delicious, continental, but still much better than any hotel I've stayed in Italy. Overall a great deal and a wonderful hotel for people of all ages and all occasions, hope to return soon!
