Stayed at the Hotel Fontana 14th July 2005, I had searched hard for this hotel and the previous comments from other trip advisors helped me choose this one, We loved this hotel and it was in a superb location directly opposite the Trevi Fountain and we recieved a Fountain View Room, number 206, we didnt mind the noise outside and all the tourists (the area is full of tourists from 10am till midnight at least) it all added to the character of where we were and you could shut the windows which blocked out most of the noise. The rooms are small but with high ceilings and the bed in itself was a king size, the room was clean which is the main thing, and the fan above the bed did keep you cool but was a bit noisy on full speed, this is the only critical comment I have, the bathroom was well decorated and size was average. Value for money was good we paid 160 euros and it was within walking distance of everything. This hotel was typical Italian Style which is what we was looking for it was not modernised or charmless. We loved it here and would definately return without hesitation. Feel free to Email me if you have questions on this hotel.
