All I have to say is that this hotel was completely disturbing. We arrived at the hotel which was directly overlooking the Trevi Fountain. The font desk had what seemed to be an 80 year old lady bring our bags up in the 1 person elevator. I would have done it myself, but before I realized, the bags where on their way up (one at time).
When we got to our room, we noticed a funny odor - and every time we walked into the bathroom, we would become light-headed and have to quickly sit down. Inside the actual room was no different, aside from the incredible noise coming from people below visiting the Trevi Fountain, the floors were so uneven, you could actually see the wardrobe tilting! And when you lie on the bed, you roll to the edge!!! Without even unzipping a suitcase, I was on the phone booking another hotel - Hotel Ciccarone - an excellent choice I might add.
We did try to get our money back (even offered to pay the 1st night) but since we had paid in advance for 3 nights, the manager refused to refund our money. We didn’t care - the most important thing was to get out of there!!! And that we did!!!
