“Great stay.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

If commuting by train this is a great hotel as it is very close to the main train station. Just a five minute walk. As the train station is very close to the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Circus Maxims, many other points of interest and great food you can not go wrong. The hotel is very clean and the service was excellent as well.

This hotel was located in central Rome, convenient to the Metro and Train Station. The room was very clean and spacious by Italy standards. The front desk service was very good. The breakfast was good but very slow. Breakfast was to be at 7 but did not have everything ready to serve until about 7:30. We did not get an adequate breakfast but one out of 3 mornings because we had early tours. The very strong coffee was great if you order coffee and hot water (and hot milk) and mix to your liking. Very slow service so don't schedule tours before 9. This hotel had 1 elevator and it was old and tiny and very slow.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The service and location were excellent. The breakfast had few options and was good -- everyone is likely to find something to eat. The room was clean.

The worst thing about this hotel was so bad, however, that it overshadowed all of its good features. And it was that its walls are too thin -- probably made out of an inch-think cardboard. We were unfortunate to have a very loud and lively couple stay in an adjacent during the last two nights of our stay -- we couldn't sleep, not at midnight, not at 2 a.m., not at 4 a.m. It was awful, and enough for us to not recommend this hotel, which is otherwise good.

Aside from thin walls, the basic room was too small, the wifi quite unreliable, and the toiletries offered were hardly enough to last you through half a decent shower.

We had a nice and comfy stay in this hotel. It is 10-15 min walk from termini station. All staffs were helpful and professional. Breakfast was quite good. This is a boutique hotel and rooms are a bit small as usual. There is only one lift and it is claustrophobic. (Overall score: 8 of 10).

Room Tip: We booked a superior room for 2 people. Our room was a bit small but this is standard of a boutique...

Its located near the railway station. Clean and nice ambience. Overall good ambience. Wifi was free and good speed. Morning breakfast was okey dokey types. Anyone who wants budget hotel can afford this hotel.

It is always refreshing to go back more than once and experience a hotel that gives good service and is a nice place to stay. We have this to be the case with the Hotel Alpi in Roma, Italia. We have stayed alone and gone with family and friends to Rome and always have booked at the Alpi. Only a few blocks from the Central Train Station in Rome, close to the tour bus lines, cabs are easily gotten near and around the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast in the morning gives a nice selection of foods. The prices are reasonable and early booking discounts are nice. Will go back to the Alpi the next time we, family or friends are visiting Rome.

Stayed for one night as a couple and enjoyed the atmosphere in alpi hotel. Close to termini station ( 5 min walk) plus the staff is very friendly, helpful and professional! The only thing that was missing was a shower , in our bathroom there was a very small jacuzzi bathtub and being 6.4" tall I didn't really enjoy it unfortunately ! Continental breakfast is very good, they have a fantastic table set up , friendly and efficient waiters who speak good English and you just start off the day with a big smile on your face! Would recommend it!
