My husband and I used Bob's Limo service three times on our trip to Italy. I ordered the shared shuttle rides over the internet, however, two out of the three trips we were driven privately in a Mercedes car. Each time the driver was early and waiting for us as we exited. We used them to get from the airport to the port for our cruise, from the port to our hotel in Rome, and from our hotel to FCO airport for our flight home. Once I booked online I got immediate confirmation via email with the cost for each ride in Euros. We paid the drivers in cash and added a few euros for a tip. I can't remember the exact cost of each trip, but I think it was 85 euros from airport to port, 77 euros from port to hotel in Rome, and 36 euros from hotel to airport. Much less expensive than a cab or Norwegian Cruise Line's charge of $75.00 per person each way for transportation between airport and port. The port is a long way from the airport, over an hour. I received an email a couple of days prior to each transfer just as a friendly reminder which eased my mind. We had three different drivers and none of them were very talkative, but they were all courteous and professional and would answer questions if we initiated conversations. Their emails are very detailed about where to meet the driver and they held a sign with our name on it so don't worry about finding the driver. They advised me via email prior to booking the best time to book each transfer to maximize our time and make sure we arrived on time for each departure. If I ever have the pleasure of returning to Italy, I will use their service again.
