I booked this hotel for a three-day trip to Rome, at €265 per night it was more expensive than any other hotel I have used in Rome. The location is great, just behind the Pantheon, it is in a very quiet little street, so sleeping at night is no problem however you are still right in the centre of everything. The rooms were nice, very bright and airy. However I found the room to be on the small side considering the price, and the bathroom was tiny, the shower was ridiculously small. The breakfast was adequate, but I have had better. On the day we were leaving, there was a demonstration, while this was not the fault of the hotel, when we booked a cab in the morning for 5.30 pm that evening, they didn't mention that due to the demonstration, the cab would have to park some distance away, I was travelling with my mother and would have allowed more time had I known we had to drag our bags some 10 minutes to get to our cab. I think the driver should have met us at the hotel and walked us over, rather than leave us wandering around a piazza looking for him. We booked a tour of the Vatican with Through Eternity, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough, we met our guide Brandon at 10 am and he left us at 5 pm. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his subject, this made for a really interesting tour.
