“Best value for your money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

The hotel was located in the heart of Rome directly across from the pantheon. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and spoke English very well. Listening to the music and singing in the piazza Rotundo was magical and the windows could e closed to shut it all out for a good sleep

Room Tip: All the rooms have a great view

Hotel is very convenient but can be noisy due to being right at the Pantheon. Rooms are small as expected and pretty basic, but clean and neat. Staff were very helpful and recommended some good restaurants. Level 5 rooms worked well for a family of 5.

Perfect location, a stones throw from the Pantheon and all the attractions and restaurants located around it. Walking distance to the colosseum and Vatican city. Small rooms and bathrooms but you will not spend much time in your room! Breakfast is not great but still recommend the hotel purely for it location and helpful staff.

Room Tip: Pantheon view is great however be aware it is quite loud until late at night with people in the squa...

I really couldn't compliment enough this cozy hotel. Facing the Pantheon (my favorite Roman attraction) there isn't a better place to stay when visiting the Eternal City. It's walking distance from Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, piazza Spagna, Il Gesu (don't miss this last one). I found the surroundings really worth discovering.

The rooms are normal size really clean and comfortable. The bathroom worked perfectly and was new. The staff is really nice and willing to help you. Breakfast served on a restaurant across the Piazza is awesome and the views are always outstanding. Windows are modern so there is no noise while you sleep. We had a really nice stay at this wonderful Hotel.

I absolutely recommend this hotel when visiting Rome !!!

You can't beat the location, it's perfect. We loved Rome, truly. The staff in the hotel were really pleasant and very helpful. The hotel is small but nice and clean. Small kids beware of the lift door when the lift is operating.

We had room 305 w the BEST corner view of piazza & Pantheon. Yes, the view is VERY beautiful... But if I had it to do over I would go for comfort vs location. Think about it... You really don’t spend much time in your hotel looking out the window anyway.... What really matters in a hotel... Quiet room, nice showers/bathroom, comfy bed, convenient yummy free breakfast, good fast internet connection... This place had NONE of this! Definitely needs a remodel! Elevator doesn’t go to first floor so you have to carry heavy luggage up a flight of stairs! Yes, they do offer breakfast BUT its not on premises and doesn’t start until 730, Walls are thin, and piazza below is LOUD. Instant coffee? Really?

Room Tip: Room 305 is best w views of Piazza & Pantheon!

Dear Guest,

I respect your opinion but I would like to tell you that all the rooms in our hotel are equipped with: free speed wifi connection, double glazed window, tea and coffe maker for free, mini-bar, safe box, TV with international channels, room service, private air conditioning and the best view of the Pantheon.

About the breakfast we offer: milk, american and italian coffe, yougurt, fruits, cakes, cereals, eggs and bacon, croissant, juice and bread; it's a beautiful solution because all the guest can look the Pantheon having the breakfast

Albergo Abruzzi is small, but tidy. The perfect situation balances all small quirks. (tiny shower e.g.). I had room 304 where the window opens up directly on The Pantheon. It costs exactly what you would have to expect. This part of the historical centre is closed to cars; what you hear is the constant murmur of countless people. Breakfast is served in he bar/restaurant IL Ritardo across the piazza. Excellent. Warning: You may get addicted and stay here for the rest of your life.

Room Tip: 304 with a splendid view.
