It was a wonderful week! With the help of their description we easily found the way from the airport to the Casa.
The hotel is esthetic and elegant, we were very surprised when we arrived. The big studio, The Loft, as well as the standard room were my friends were, was just great. It would be worth to test every one of their rooms for a couple of days to discover all the nice details of planning and architecture (I discoverd the impressive ancient/modern steel columns within the studio only at the first morning when daylight fell through the open door) and in my opinion, having already been in Rome before, there is no more quiet and central location in town.
We really enjoyed the Quarter San Lorenzo, the restaurants which were suggested, as well a couple we found ourselves, were excellent, and the little coffee bar, where we took our breakfasts when we did not at the Casa too. At check-in they dedicate us half an hour to explain us everything about public transport system, and gave precious tips which made our stay specially easy, we went around Rome smoothly and had a beautiful time. Casa della palma is a real hearty place.
We have already recommended the Casa della Palma to our family and friends and hope to be back there next Spring or early Summer again.

A real "Oasis" reasonably close to Termini station. Clean and cool family room (the Loft) with doors out onto quiet shady courtyard where you can sit out under the palm trees. Owners are very helpful and provided good directions. Getting around Rome is best done by tram and there are several stops just around the corner. Didn't investigate the nearby restaurants however there is a great coffee shop just opposite for breakfast (also sells tram tickets). Going back this summer !

Very difficult to find as the entrance court yard is tucked inside an aparment grouping. Far from everything, but close to tram lines which we had no problems negotiating. No restaurants near. Area was extremely dirty, but the room itself was clean and very spacious. No lobby and no tourist information available although staff did provide us with a map and tram instructions.

Be advised the City (other than Vatican City) is closed on Easter Sunday AND Monday, which we did not know. With no restaurants near the hotel this was diffiuclt.

All-in-all, hotel hotel is good. Location not so much!

Rome is an expensive city and if you came across Cassa Della Palma finding an excellent rate, be careful, it does come with some strings attached! Well, no complaints whatsoever about the room itself, very clean, huge, modern accomodations, large bed, futuristic furniture, room to dance the polka. BUT, we found the location of the B&B FAR, FAR from any attraction; we used the bus and tram to get around and we did get to our destination but we would have preferred a more central location. When you read the description of the hotel, it sounds like it is located in a charming, quaint part of town, collegial and residential; the streets are filthy, dirty and smelly but we did not feel unsafe at any time. If you want a very good hotel at a good price but far from center Rome, this would be fine.
