You get off the train. Drag your luggage to your Hotel. You have your confirmation in hand. You're tired and you just want to check in and get on with your experience in Rome. But, at the Sunshine House they say they don't have your reservation. And they don't care either. That was six of us (3 rooms booked). We got a little worried when 2 others left the Hotel saying they had a reservation not honored as well. This was no fun. Don't do it!!

DONT stay here. Three couples booked rooms for end of October and all three of us received confirmations back on email. on arrival, NO ROOMS. They had sold all of our rooms and gave us no help in finding another set of rooms. We had to pay extra and double bunk in two rooms that evening. The guy at the front desk told us that we had to go to the rail station and stand in line for the Hotel Booking agency and he offered no help. we met another couple leaving who had the same thing told to them. in total, four rooms confirmed and then resold. these guys are crooks and should be SHUT DOWN.

I am unable to give a full review of Sunshine House but I would like to warn others about it. I booked this accomodation over the internet & when we arrived outside the building the taxi driver was reluctant to let us out of his cab, informing us that the area was not safe for my family to stay in. He described the place as a hostel & not a family run B&B as described on the website I booked it on. Having seen the gang of young men hanging around the entrance to Sunshine House and the condition of the surrounding area, we did not take much convincing to find another hotel. Only wish I had know about this website before I booked it.

It was the worst night of my life! It is in a horrible location with gangs of youths hanging around the entrance making lewd comments to passers by.

It is run by a doddering old man who does not know what is going on.

The room was ok but we had bunk beds not a double bed as requested. The bathroom was dirty and without towels.
