“Just so so”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

A bit pricey, lamb over cooked, got the order a bit wrong. While the meal was generally tasty, some things add up yo a sub par experience. They also add in service separately so don't be surprised.

“Excellent atmosphere, expensive and average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2014

This restaurant is very close to via veneto a very nice place in Rome. We were waiting something better from this restaurant but the food wasn't delicious enough. Tzatziki and falafel were very tasteful but meat had a very strange taste specially the kebab or similar, chicken is better. We didn't enjoy moussaka if I remember the name. Bread is cold and if that happens you cannot eat it.
So, for bread you have to pay 2 euro x person and then they charge you again with 10% of service, so this is not fair without eating anything as you sit you have to pay 10 euros and I am talking about a couple. The atmosphere and decor is very nice and it is a place for special moments. Service is very good and people are very kind. You can give a chance to this restaurant in via veneto but you should not have great expectations from the cuisine.

“This is the place to go for a very tempting Lebanese Treat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

The food was delicious, wonderful staff, amazing cocktails & great music. Each item comes bursting with flavour, from smokey baba gannouj to spicy soujoc sausages or crispy makale samak.
Highly recommend it!

“Exceptional Lebanese cuisine near Via V. Veneto”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

Just around the corner from the American Embassy, on via Porta Pinciana, is a wonderful Lebanese restaurant. It is like being transported out of Rome to eat here. We had not eaten non-Italian food in almost a year when we came to Mandaloun and were quite taken with the quality of everything. There are two types of hummus, with the spicy being the best, falafel, shwarma, tabbouleh, fattoush and all the specialties you could ask for. Prices are reasonable, running about €60-65 per couple when we shared mezza, wine and some entrees among several couples.
