We stayed in the hotel for 9 days. The rooms were basically Okay, clean and safe.
The breakfast was good they have cold cuts, boiled eggs, pasteries, cereal, fruit and really good espresso.
The lobby is on the ground floor and the elevator is on the first floor. You have to carry your luggage up two flights yourself. They don't have anyone to help you.
The rooms had rotary-dial phones so I couldn't use my calling card (there are no touch tone phones in the hotel). I had to use my calling card at a payphone.
As I said the rooms were Okay but after a few nights we had to ask for fresh towels. (they just hang up your wet ones to dry) We stayed there 9 days and they didn't change our bed sheets.
The location is good. It's outside the central city, but there is a metro (subway) stop "Bologna" right around the corner of the hotel (Just 3 stops away from the coloseum). Along with several city buslines into the heart of rome including a bus that takes you to the vatican but that takes about 1 hour.
A supermarket occupies the building next to the hotel, so you can stock up on drinks, snacks, or buy deli products and make sandwiches. (Bring your own shopping bag!)
Overall I got what I paid for, so I was happy.
