This hotel is pretty cheap, in comparison to others 3 stars hotels in Rome, and despite being quite far from 'downton' is well connected to it due to the subway and the buses stations nearby.
And that's it for the good news. Let's see the bad news...
The rooms are the smallest I've ever seen: if you have a large suitcase the front door won't open. The closet is small, smelly and dirt, as well as the carpet (also very worn) and the walls (full of scratches and dark marks).
The bathroom was appalling: the window didn't close well, there's only one radiator and so I assume that the room would be very cold in winter; the basin is missing the bottom lid and when I came back after the morning 'cleaning' the roommaid let my eye conctat lenses closing lid fall into the basin's hole! The shower is dirt and very old and the courtesy set consisted only in a sample of shampoo and a small soap.
The bed is quite comfy but either the sheets and the blanket were dirty!!
The so called buffet breakfast was miserable: a few pastries and very cheap salami and sliced chees. The orange juice was mixed with water, and the first morning the waitress told us that the cappucino machine was broken, so she brought a cup of cheap coffee and not so fresh milk. No cereals and the tablecloth was stained and full of bread crumbles from the morning before! Also, there is no elevator to the first floor, and so every guest had to bring its luggage upstairs by himself!!!!!!!
Plus, we had to do the check out on the spot as we arrived, and pay in advance!!!!
Please don't stay here and in the others hotels of the same Leonardi's chain, as they seem to be pretty and comfortble but they aren't.
It's so clear that the only thing the owner has in mind is to maximise his profits, and he doesn't care at all of the weelbeing of his guests!
