This hotel is located on the Via Del Corso - the main [expensive] shopping area of Rome, walking distance from all the main attractions and a nice selection of restaurants, but be advised this is a very touristy area and you will meet very few locals.
The decor is very quaint and elegant - high ceilings, marble columns, heavy red velvet furniture.
It seems there is a variety of different room sizes, some are renovated, others not - so pay attention to what type of room you request. Ours looked out into an inner courtyard and was very quiet.
The breakfast was excellent and very generous - if you want espresso \ cappuccino - you need to ask the waiters (they don't offer).
Make sure to have a drink on the roof garden and enjoy a spectacular view!
Service was mediocre - it took them three days to change a lightbulb in our room and that was after we called them four times and finally brought the old bulb to the front desk and made a scene...
