Just a poor ran hotel, managenent rude and hot helpful in the least. I stayed there on the final night of a 10 day Italy motorcycle trip sponsered by Edelweiss Tours. In the morning on the way to a differant hotel in the center of Rome I realise I left the armour for my back (incase of a crash) in the room and called imediatly. I is worn like a backpack and was expensive. Don't know how I missed it on the way out but I called right away and got nothing but a run around about who would take a minute to look. Six calls that day and nothing. GM, Paolo was the most care less person I ever talked to at a hotel. Plain and simple, some one of the hotel staff was the theif or just tossed it out. Even the motorcycle tour company said this hotel is rude and indifferant and was looking for an alternative. Not happy as the article cost over two hundred dollars to replace. Find another hotel at all costs.

The hotel industry in Italy is obviously virtually unregulated. How this hotel can claim any stars at all is beyond me. It's dishonest and misleading. They should at least be challenged for false advertising as the description is misleading to put it mildy.

The hotel is at least half an hour out of Rome, it's near nothing of interest. Awful location.

On checking in, your date of birth is demanded. When i asked why this was needed and what it would be used for, they simply kept repeating that they needed it.

The rooms are tiny and grubby and very brown, even so, the carpet and bedspreads clearly need a good clean. The bathroom tiles were cracked and broken. There was a hole in the wall where the tap was coming away from the wall. Water was TEPID, just what you need after a long day.

There are only 2 lifts and they are always busy, you have to queue for it and most of the time people simply used the fire escape stairs.

A colleague had money stolen from his room. Breakfast was absolutely average.

Don't go there as it will spoil your perception of Italy

As a business traveller I sleep out in hotels all over Europe more than 100 nights a year. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had on a hotel. Dont even know where to begin, but the worst part is the very, very rude personnel, from front Desk to Restarant, I did not see even ONE smile for 5 days. Hotel is located ridicously far away from anything. A maintenance man walk straight into the room, with my wife sleeping, even though the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign was on. Restaurant is far too expensive and waiters are so rude, I had to finish fast to leave. No Internet in the room and the wifi-connection in the bar is not working, but they still charge you 5 euros a day. The rooms where cold and beds hard as rock and we were told that they couldnt turn the heat on. Half of the elderly people of an american tourist bus tour got ill during their stay due to cold conditions in their rooms. By all mean, I would always avoid this hotel and if I have to give them one star it would be for the fitness facilities in the basement, which btw is not open during the weekend.

We stayed at Aran Park hotel for 1 night in June 2008. We liked the hotel room but the service was absolutely PATHETIC.

One particular incident that I would like to recall: We had dinner at the restaurant located on the 7th floor. We were very annoyed at the attitude of the restaurant manager. He is the most rude person I have met in the hotel industry. He had absolutely no manners. Since we had reached 5 minutes before the opening time, he very rudely asked us to leave. When we came back, he was again very rude in allocating a table to us. When my wife told him that we are vegetarians and so if he could recommend any dishes, he insulted us for being vegetarians. It was none of his business hurting our sentiments on dietary constraints.

Moreover, the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere so commuting is a big challenge. Highly avoidable.
