Our group had three separate rooms and all were clean and spacious with en suite baths. The location was great. We were able to wonder around the Trevi fountain each evening, take public transport from Piazza Barberini, which was a block away, and grab something to eat from the many resturants within the area of the hotel and the Trevi. The staff was amazing, able to converse in English with us, answering our many questions and offering great suggestions for activitities. Will stay here again on our next visit to Rome!

Wonderful location in the center of Rome, near Barberini metro stop, few hundred meters from Trevi's fountain. Very elegant and clean room, large bathroom, very good breakfast. When I return in Roma probably I'm staying in this hotel again!

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel. It is just steps away from the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and great shopping. We stayed here first in 2006 and again in July 2008. Both times we found the room, service, location and price were unbelievably great. There is a full English breakfast included each morning and during breakfast we had the pleasure of getting to know the owner, Silvio. The recent renovations and new large elevator make getting to and from your room an ease. The rooms are surprisingly large for Rome, nights are quiet for sleeping, and housekeeping keeps rooms spotless! We have recommended this hotel to friends and associates who have all had very positive experiences. If you are planning to stay in Rome, this is the hotel for you! Very clean, comfortable, excellent customer service and close to major attractions. This year I was experiencing morning sickness (yep, pregnant) and Silvio and his staff went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Their genuine support and care made such a difference in my trip experience. Many thanks to Silvio and his staff for another wonderful stay. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We arrived for a weekend of sightseeing and we were welcomed warmly by a helpful receptionist.

The lift to the room was small, just managing to occupy 2 people and 1 suitcase. The room we stayed in (406) was in need of redecoration but it was clean so we were happy until we tried getting the air-conditioning working. Even though it was October and outside was fresh, the room was still very warm. The temperature is centrally controlled and it was set to 22 degrees although this made no difference to the temperature and outside was to noisy to have the windows open.

The breakfast was average, although the croissants were warm and the coffee was good.

Overall, the location was superb, the rooms were OK and the price was inline with what we would expect to pay in Rome and for the hotel quality.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights and the location is great, a couple of minutes from the Trevi Fountain and round the corner from the Barberini metro stop. The room was small and could have done with being refurbished but was very clean.
The main problem was that the air conditioning didn't work very well and even after the hotel had allegedly attended to it it was still unbearable and made night times uncomfortable and the street was too noisy to have the window open.
The breakfast is average at best and the staff stony faced. There are two lifts but one only goes to the third floor and the other is not for the claustrophobic, but is really quite quaint.
Given the cost of hotels in Rome it was ok for the money but in other cities for the price we would have expected a lot more
