We stayed in this hotel for three nights and the location is great, a couple of minutes from the Trevi Fountain and round the corner from the Barberini metro stop. The room was small and could have done with being refurbished but was very clean.
The main problem was that the air conditioning didn't work very well and even after the hotel had allegedly attended to it it was still unbearable and made night times uncomfortable and the street was too noisy to have the window open.
The breakfast is average at best and the staff stony faced. There are two lifts but one only goes to the third floor and the other is not for the claustrophobic, but is really quite quaint.
Given the cost of hotels in Rome it was ok for the money but in other cities for the price we would have expected a lot more
