Stayed there for 4 nights on June. The Anglo-Americano hotel is ranked 4 stars and is located at the best point in Rome. Staff are helpfull, rooms are very clean. Breakfast is a shame, real poor.
rooms are not big, ok? they are small... but forget it, and you can enjoy the staying. We left the hotel after breakfast, returned on the late afternoon, then went out at evening until late at night, so we havent seen much of the hotel... WIFI coverage is poor in some parts of the hotel.

Well located hotel if you plan to see much of Rome on foot.Modernised with clean rooms.Service is typical Italian hit and miss and breakfast is OK but not brilliant.Everything is more than acceptable but best of all you can walk in any direction and see the sights like Spanish Steps,Trevi fountain and plenty of places to eat nearby.Lication,location.

Hotel location is perfect, walking distance to a lot of attractions, near metro and bus. Front desk service was very good, room was cleaned every day. The room was quite small, but beautiful. Breakfast was OK.

Location is just perfect, walking distance to all central attractions and right next to metro and bus stations to get to more distant places.
Other than that, our room (314) was tiny even compared to other European hotels. It has a look and feel of an attic with a diagonal ceiling.
Had to bend to get into the tiny shower, hit my head a couple of times.
Service was ok, efficient but not very friednly, staff needs to smile every now and then.
Breakfast was not bad, nice selection and good coffee.
I would give the Anglo-Americano 3 stars. It is a great basis to tour Rome, but does not provide the extras I would expect from a 4 star hotel that should make me want to spend some time in the hotel itself.

Room Tip: Some rooms on the edges of floors 3, 4 are smaller and look like an attic. Try to avoid them.

The location of this hotel is very central to all places of interest. Can definitely not find any fault with regards to the cleanliness of the room however early morning breakfast is a shambles with the room/s being too small and everybody seems to be climbing on top of each other. Breakfast is very limited with not much to choose from and if this could be improved plus bigger breakfast rooms, this would help improve the hotel's 4-Star image. On the whole it is a good hotel to stay in but can certainly improve to truly reflect a truly 4-Star Hotel.

Service - Lousy. Rude and unhappy front desk staff. Chambermaid took my tips when I ask for a hot water flask but never returned. End up was being told the hotel doesn't have hot water flask

Breakfast - I would rather eat on my own at the cafes opp the hotel. The breakfast was non existence

If u charge a 2 stars rate, maybe it is value for money
