Other reviews of this hotel have been fairly negative and this one will be no exception.
This hotel is quite far from the sights of Rome. You have to walk to the tobacconist shop to travel tickets first, then board the bus to the train station. The train station is the 2nd last from the end. To travel to the Spanish Steps would take about 45 mins. The Romans certainly know how to grafitti the outside of trains!!
After having dinner out, we returned to the train station to catch the bus at around 10pm. Be cautioned that this does not feel like a particularly safe area. ie, not many people around, could not find a cab, fairly dark, and just hoping the bus would turn up. But having said that, the hotel staff were able to give us a useful map and a sheet with some basic travel instructions - and we were able to get around fairly well. Just remember that when getting the bus back to the hotel from the train station, go to the same spot where you were dropped off. It can be confusing as there are many bus stands in different locations (upstairs and downstairs) all around that station.
The breakfast here is also very, very basic. They have bread, cheese and ham. After travelling across Italy and enjoying a hot breakfast, we found the food here to be disappointing.
The hotel itself was not too bad. The rooms were clean and comfy. It does face onto a major road, and on the left side (facing the hotel from the road) is some major building construction.
I would not recommend this hotel.
