The hotel was very tight, the narrow hallway, the miniscule lift and small room and bathroom. The room felt old and dingy, and if we opened the window in the bathroom a weird smell came in. Our room faced the back. The towels were exactly like dinner napkins, or tablecloth. You could hear people in the bathroom next door.
The immediate area seemed seedy and abandoned, but perhaps only because we arrived after dark. We had to leave at 6am the next morning so we didn't get to check out the breakfast.
The evening concierge was a nice older man, who offered to make us espressos in the morning before we left, but we didn't have time in the end.
